Well we are finishing our week here in Nashville,we went to the Jack Daniels Distillery for a tour and tasting, I learned lots of things I never knew about the process of making Whiskey as well as the valuable lesson to never kick a safe, considering thats what killed old Jack
, we also attended a show at the Grand Ole Opry the next evening in which there was a little boy of only 11 years old that not only composed his own music but played the fiddle like a pro and sang like an angel, his name was Carson Peters, we also got to see Little Big Town, Pam Tillis and a comedian named Henry Cho who was very funny.
Today we went to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green,KY and saw not only their collection but also some of the cars that were lost in the sinkhole in 2010, they not only still had the dirt from the hole but you could actually buy a bottle of the sinkhole dirt in the gift shop, I passed on that.
That afternoon we went to lunch at place called the Tea Bayou, before going in I watched an entire line of old women crossing the street on their Jazzy scooters, just wheeling around town, I never laughed so hard, once inside we were greeted with the atmosphere of local art on all the walls and a selection of creole/cajon food and different types of teas and coffees to drink, which were all delicious.
After lunch we went to the Lost River Caves where we went on an underground boat ride, they had beautiful trails and what they called Blue Holes, the river is over 17 miles and goes through the caves underground, the saying low ceiling doesn't do parts of the boat ride justice.
All in all this trip has been really wonderful, from great food, great music to the great outdoors, we have really enjoyed it here and look forward to what else our Travels has in store for us. Until then be kind to one another.

Nashville,TN
Got to our RV site and made a little home for the week, went to the Hermitage Home (President Jackson's mansion) today, it was very interesting, its one of the most complete presidential collections, even the wallpaper was original.
We were able to do the home tour and most of the grounds before it started to rain, we had a carriage ride we were going on but it got cancelled.
I then went to the Hard Rock Cafe and had lunch, past some interesting bars
and some cool stores, we went in the evening to Nashville's Escape Game, it is a game where they lock you in a room and you have 1Hr to figure out all the puzzles, Find all the clues and get out.
Thankfully we made it out with 10min's to spare.
All in all our week so far has been pretty great, can't wait to see what else this town has in store for us.

The Road Less Traveled, begining our journey.
About two years ago myself and my husband decided that we we were going
to buy an RV and travel in it for a couple of years, sound nuts, mmmm
maybe but here we are at present down to one car, house sold, now fully
moved in to our 40ft. motorhome and about to embark on a new adventure
in just a few weeks.
Well the time has come that we are actually going to be leaving our home state and heading out, we have said our goodbyes and seen everyone we know one last time, it's a little bitter sweet leaving, we are going to miss everyone but we are excited about the journey, God has blessed us greatly with this opportunity and if we weren't blessed enough for the first two weeks of our travels we are even going to have great company! A dear friend is traveling in the same direction as we are going, so we will spend a couple weeks with her, let the good times roll!
Until we see you again......
